Our daughter Louise is having the time of her life together with Mona and Steve and at the GSWU as well as in the Americus GA Rotary Club. Christmas Greetings from Braming, Denmark Kirsten & Finn Horlyck Bramming Rotary Counsellor

Dear Mona & Steve,
We just wanted to thank you for picking up our daughter Louise Horlyck in the Atlanta airport and opening your warm home in Americus to Louise. She was so comfortable and relaxed when phoning in spite of the well known jet lack after traveling from Denmark. In the following e-mails she told us that you have just hit the spot and that she felt like being at home with you her new caring parents right away. We must admit that we are very impressed about the Americus Rotary supporting the Georgia Rotary Student Program Endowment Campaign and that its individual members have committed to contribute to the GRSP Foundation a minimum of $100 per member per year for three years. Our local Bramming Rotary Club district 1450 # 10116 www.rotary.dk, was charted in 1981 and is pretty young and consisting of only 38 but active members and I am since year 2000 the Club Counsellor. Right now we have the ingoing exchange student Saori from Japan and last year Nora from Lithuania. The outgoing Jesper came home from Salem, Oregon this summer after the experience of his life and Jesper is eager to get back to the US. It is indeed very interesting and stimulating to experience, learn and compare the different cultures. My wife Kirsten is trilingual secretary in English, Spanish and German working in the art gallery in the nearby music house in Esbjerg designed by the famous architect Joern Utzon has also designed and continues to work with the Sydney Opera House/Australia as design consultant. I am project manager in www.rambla.dk which is designing, developing, producing, erecting equipment for the exterior room. And in 1983-86 I was head hunted to build up a selectdealernetwork in the US. The concept was to have only one retail store in every State selling s trilingual secretary in English, Spanish and German working in the art gallery in the nearby music house in Esbjerg designed by the famous architect Joern Utzon has also designed and continues to work with the Sydney Opera House/Australia as design consultant. We have told Louise so much about your country of opportunities and we are more than pleased that Rotary Americus made her fervent dream come through. Thank you once again to all you Rotary Club Members and families for letting Louise go through her eventful life time experience at the Georgia Southwestern State University. Enjoy your day
